Our award-winning, high-technology customer is looking for a technical author to join its technical publications team, developing technical reference documentation for use by its customers' hardware designers and programmers.

Skills and experience required:

• Good technical writing skills.
• Knowledge of any of the following: Embedded hardware/microprocessors/System On Chip (SoC)/microelectronics. (This knowledge can be work related, academic or through a personal interest in computer architecture/Embedded electronics.)
• Proficiency using FrameMaker or other structured authoring tool.

This contract is to start in June and will run until the end of December 2012.
