Careforce was established to provide care for people in their own homes, providing them with enough support to allow them to remain independent for as long as possible. Our carers provide that support, working on a one-to-one basis, or as part of a double-up team, they are friend, helper and sometimes lifeline to the people they visit.

We have carers from all backgrounds, all ages, all ethnicities and with different educational backgrounds. It is impossible to pigeonhole a carer and many people we recruit astound us and exceed our expectations.
What they have in common is a desire to help without taking over, a genuine interest in talking to people and learning about their lives and interests and an understanding of people's needs when they are unable to undertake tasks most of us take for granted. Our carers are there to support our service users without taking away their independence.
