- Full Description:
Our client is urgently seeking a Lab/Technical Assistant for their sample receipt department at their Pharmaceutical Site. Ideally, for this position you will have experience in using laboratory information systems, but full training will be given to the successful candidate.
Main Duties will include but are not restricted to:
Receiving samples for analysis, and where necessary despatch of samples for testing
Accurate and timely registration of samples onto computer system
Communication and resolution of anomalies and queries with customers and laboratory staff
Answering the telephone
Organisation and filing of paperwork for department
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
· A keen eye for detail
· Good communication skills
· A good telephone manner
· Good keyboard skills and familiarity with MS excel and word packages
· Ability to use own initiative
· The ability to work as part of a team
40 hour week – Monday to Friday, but flexibility is also required.
Salary £12.5-14.5K (depending on experience)
