Based south of Cambridge our client requires a Financial Accountant to join their existing team. Having full responsibility for all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reconciliations for internal and external reporting requirements within the UK you will, oversee and maintain the general ledger to TB, produce full balance sheet reconciliations, issue regular budget reports to lines managers, produce weekly and monthly management reports, cashflow forecasts, prepare the statutory accounts and manage the audit process, in addition to ensuring compliance with accounting and revenue recognition policies you will be involved with the planning, forecasting, reporting and statutory requirements within the finance department. The ideal candidate will be articulate with well developed oral and written communication and presentation skills, analytical with the ability to interpret complex information to a wide ranging audience, excellent technical experience delivering robust financial advice within a commercial environment and the ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
