Senior Account Manager – Cambridge – Up to £70,000 OTE
Our client, a world leading developer and supplier of technical computing software, is now recruiting. They are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager to maximise the sales of products and services to new business opportunities and key accounts within the UK Finance sector.
The role will entail selling software solutions into - and supporting - City-based clients such as Bank of England, Barclays, Morgan Stanley, Royal Bank of Scotland and HSBC, innovative hedge funds like Man Investments, Brevan Howard and Aspect Capital, plus insurance companies, asset managers, bespoke finance software houses, commodity traders, ratings agencies and even wealthy individual investors. The finance sector is our client’s fastest growing industry.
We are seeking Sales professionals who are educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering or a technical discipline. You must possess experience in technical software or IT solutions sales with responsibility for a defined territory and annual revenue targets in excess of £900k. You should have a track record of successful Business Development and Key Account Management.
