| Transport Administrator – 6 month fixed contract On behalf of our Newmarket based client, we are looking for a computer literate, numerate, accurate, confident person; capable of communicating at all levels. The ideal candidate will be someone with credit controller mentality/experience and an administrative background in the transport industry. Your duties will be as follows: General reconciliation duties:- • Reconcile pallet opening balance • Reconcile details on invoices • Reconcile pallet movements by customer • Transfer pallets issued to customer data via blue trak system • Reconcile and follow up any transaction rejection entries • Weekly distribution of the pallets held by customer summary to Transport/Sales manager(s) • Chase transport weekly to ensure that pallets are being collected General pallet agreement duties:- • Create/maintain the agreements by customer register • Follow up alerts where pallets have been allocated to a new customer and advise Transport Manager • Chase ASM’s (area sales managers) weekly to ensure that all customers have contract hire agreements Other pallet duties • Run pallet reports • Reconcile the pallet movements by customer • Compile weekly report for Transport manager • Complete adhoc tasks as required by Transport manager (training will be provided) • Complete adhoc tasks as required by FC and MA (Financial Controller/Management Accountant)- If you feel that you fulfil all of the above criteria then don’t hesitate to email your CV quoting the reference number BS319 to Danielle@brightspark-recruitment.co.uk |
