On behalf of our Newmarket based client, we are looking for an experienced Client Advisor to join the team. Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
• Dealing with customer queries via requests on phone/fax/letter etc on all commercial insurance policies
• Provide support to Senior Client Advisors and assist with administration of client accounts & renewals (including marketing exercises)
• Look after own portfolio of clients and ensuring good level of service and correct covers are arranged
• Provide support to New Business campaigns and work with Assoc Director/Client Advisors to maximise NB income
You must have:
• Commercial Insurance Knowledge – a broad basic knowledge of most common classes of commercial insurance
• Good IT Skills and ability to learn new software applications
• Excellent telephone skills – able to communicate with customers in a courteous manner
• Knowledge of FSA guidelines and how these affect our day to day working environment.
• Good communication skills both with internal/insurer contacts and clients. Need to have good verbal and written skills in this area
• Excellent level of customer service – good at building rapport/relationship with clients and able to ascertain all relevant information to assess insurance needs accurately
• An ability to prioritise own workload and respond to changing demands. A team player attitude – able to change tasks quickly to support other team members when necessary.
