Full Description:
Main Responsibilities

Look after own portfolio of clients ensuring good level of service and correct covers arranged across all classes of commercial insurance

Visit new and existing clients as required in order to secure or retain business.

Deal with customer queries and MTA’s on all commercial classes of business

Develop working relationships with relevant contacts to identify business opportunities and feedback to the board as necessary.

Assist more junior team members on more complex cases acting as a referral point for technical queries

Abide by regulatory and Company procedures.

Key Skills/Experience

Commercial and haulage knowledge – a broad knowledge of the main classes of commercial insurance

Good IT skills and ability to learn new software applications.
Good telephone skills, with the ability and confidence to communicate with all customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Good client facing skills, previous experience of dealing with customers on a face to face basis on both new business and renewal cases

Good knowledge of FSA guidelines and how these affect our day to day working environment.
