Job Description
Microelectronics Sales Engineer
Vacancy Type: Permanent
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £30,000
We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to develop and grow the Microelectronics business area within an exciting and supportive organisation. So if you think you have what it takes to achieve sales targets of over £1.5 million within your team, then we want to hear from you!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Pipeline management of medium complexity sales process
- Handling of day to day sales enquiries
- Expanding the customer base through business development activity
- Maintaining up to date and complete records within the company system
- Maintaining customer records with necessary amendments
- Customer visits, generating quotations, securing orders and selling after-sales services
- Maintaining of supplier relationships and monitoring the market for new opportunities.
- Overseas visits as and when required.
Essential skills:
- The ability to achieve targets and effectively
develop and secure new business opportunities
- An understanding of the following advanced
packaging and assembly technology
- Epoxy dispensing for die attach, encapsulation and underfill applications
- Eutectic die attach
- Flip-chip in its various forms
- Multi-chip die bonding
- Wire bonding of fine and heavy wire
- Hermetic package sealing
- Wire and die bond testing
- Plasma processing
