Job Description
My client based in Cambridge specialise in producing high power electronics for the renewable energy sector and require a highly experienced Test Engineer with immediate effect.
The suitable candidate must have:
Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
At least 5-10 years in Digital Test, Ethernet, RF test engineering
Previous test experience of consumer electronic products
Test Scripting/automation
Experience in Design for Test or Failure Analysis or Product Engineering Experience.
Test experience with Ethernet, WiFi, GPRS/3G, ZigBee
Strong Experience in test engineering and production environment, must know ATE usual platforms
Able to propose improvements for next products generation.
Able to propose continuous improvement on costs saving.
Regulatory Approvals (CE, UL, IEC)
Quality management, project management
Prototype test verification
The successful candidate will be involved in the test of existing and future gateway and repeater products and be responsible for monitoring existing installations, testing software releases, reporting test results, configuring necessary hardware and operating environments, writing and developing test plans and test procedures.
