Job Description:
The Software Test Technician will be creating test scripts and building up test systems for several projects and will therefore be providing the vital links between the Requirements Specification, the Test Specification and the finished product. As a project team member you will be responsible for carrying out your specific project tasks within the timescales and budgets agreed with your project managers. As your experience develops, you might wish to take on further responsibilities.
Test technician\'s work on projects in multidisciplinary teams, sometimes on more than one concurrently. High quality work is essential from every team member.
Requirements:
Suitable candidates for the role of Software Test technician will need to have:
- Experience of efficient and repeatable testing in an Embedded software environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of Scripting, preferably in Python
- Experience of writing code in C.
- Experience of testing Embedded communications software
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel/Word/Powerpoint etc)
