    Reporting into the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of financial information to senior management and Directors within the Group.



    Specific responsibilities will include:

    Production of Group management accounts within 10 working days

    Management of a small team of accounts assistants responsible for the purchase and sales ledgers

    All accounting entries in the ledgers

    Balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts on a monthly basis and to review these with the Financial Controller

    Reporting the performance of the business against Budget or latest forecast as required

    Preparation and submission of VAT returns on a quarterly basis

    Corporation Tax returns





    The successful candidate will have broad accounting experience, probably gained in an SME. Formal qualification would be considered an advantage but is not essential. Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, are considered vital.
