Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Commercial Analyst will work closely with the operational teams delivering information that will directly impact revenue and profit.
Key accountabilities will include:
To produce analysis of revenues and margins for all projects
Prepare reports for Operations Director and Managers analysing variances against budget
Work with Operations team to identify and drive opportunities to improve operational performance and margins
Work with management accountant to improve analysis tools and simplify revenue analysis process
Support operational managers to help them understand the financial reports for their areas and work together to improve performance
Prepare forecasts for each project to predict revenue and cash generation
Provide management information to help the Operations Director understand performance in each region
To guide and manage the project administrator who manages the contracts and invoicing
The successful candidate will be part-qualified, qualified or 'qualified by experience' with proven experience gained in a commercial finance function. Strong IT and communication skills are essential.
