Mechanical Assembly Technician
Skills:
*Significant experience of assembling instruments or other precision products
*Ability to perform basic testing and problem solving
*Ability to liaise with design and development engineers
*Basic computer literacy
*A background in tool making and competence in fine tolerance manual milling and turning would be an advantage
Main Duties:
*Working flexibly within a small manufacturing team, building and testing a varied range of low-volume, precision products for laboratories and the pharmaceutical industry
*Producing high quality work with minimum supervision to achieve deadlines
