    Our client requires a Prototype Wireman/Assembly Technician for 4 - 8 weeks. Candidates applying MUST hold a current security clearance to be considered for this booking.

    The emphasis of this requirement is in the area of prototyping, detailed wiring and general electronics assembly and faultfinding.

    Candidate profile

    The successful candidate/s will have:
    - Minimum of 3 years experience in a product development environment, preferably with experience of RF/Telecoms/defence products.
    - Electronics prototype wireman with rack wiring experience.
    - The ability to work with minimum supervision assembling complex prototypes from schematics and drawings.
    - Experience of working closely with engineers as part of a project team.
    - Extensive experience in detailed wiring and general electronics assembly, including, Cable Looming, Cable Harnessing, Electro Mechanical Assembly, PCB build, SMT soldering.

    An appropriate relevant qualification in electronics (ONC/HNC/HND) would be preferable but is not essential.

    Applicants will be required to demonstrate their wiring/soldering skills as part of our selection process.
