Our client is currently seeking an Account Manager to manage & develop high quality business. Co-ordinate business development activities with line Management.
Main Duties: *Act as a key point of contact for customers within your portfolio (the role has retention responsibilities). Identify opportunities to improve the service we deliver and the revenue we generate from these customers. *Manage customer queries successfully, migrating these to Customer Service, Office Administration Team, Production, Transport and other departments as appropriate. *Where necessary visit customer sites to identify stock & other issues, and where appropriate, work on site to resolve to mutual satisfaction. Complete associated administrative activities in a timely fashion.(Additional focus now to be placed on management of abuse of stock) *Carry out training of housekeeping staff on customer premises, issuing associated paperwork, and provide on-going training and support. *Assist with stock checks as necessary & accompany the Stock Check Clerk on visits to customers within your portfolio. Complete all associated paperwork to a high standard. *Drive sales activity (warm leads & cold calling) & gather marketplace information in liaison with line Management. *Organise diary & appointments with new & existing customers; communicate appointment details to Business Development Manager. *Complete visit reports, file notes & letters to a high standard. *Attend regular Inter-Departmental Communication Meetings & Business Development / Strategy Meetings.
