Full Description:

Our client is seeking a time served Electrical Commissioning Technician who is experienced in commissioning PLC, PC, and motion systems. The role will involve all aspects of electrical commissioning, from receipt of a fully assembled machine through to final test and hand over to the customer. You should be qualified to at least HNC or HND level in electrical and electronic engineering, with knowledge of Allen Bradley logix 5000, Beckhoff, Twincat and Siemens S7/Simotion an advantage. The ideal candidate will probably have at least 3 years experience gained in a product manufacturing environment, with proven experience of electro-mechanical machinery, motion systems, pneumatics, wiring and PLC control. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently. Flexibility will be required within this role, and there may be some requirement to work on-site.
