The client is looking to recruit a CAD/CAM (Pro/E) Applications Engineer within the post sales team. You will be responsible for Pro/E support, training & implementation activities. The experience you are required to have is a working knowledge of Pro/E & other CAD software solutions such as Solidworks, Unigraphics SDRC Ideas & Mechanical Desktop. Other experience that is expected that you should have is a good understanding & use of MS Windows software applications, plus good working knowledge of product data management, mechanical analysis, & Java programming (if you have any software implementation knowledge that would be an advantage). You must be comfortable working in a customer oriented business, & although most training will be held at the Cambridgeshire site you may have to travel to customers sites any where in the UK & Europe. You should also have strong communication & interpersonal skills, & be comfortable in technical process discussions.
